Inspired by images of the Virgin of Guadalupe , this painting features the Yucca Whipplei plant important to Cahuilla People for food and material culture. The arched format references California Mission history and the "halo" features Cahuilla Bird Singing Rattles.

Features the Indigenous tobacco plant important to the Cahuilla people. The title refers to the recent phenomena of some tribes removing members from their citizenry.

Amul is the Cahuilla word for the desert agave plant which traditionally provided food and fibers for material culture items. a decorative motif of rattle forms line the top and bottom of the canvas.

The design of this work is inspired by blanket textile designs. Each corner has a dvd disk and decorative stones adhered to the canvas. Abalone shell "button" are sown onto the canvas. Cahuilla Bird Singing rattles are repeated across the composition.
